Description
Ladies & gentlemen - the Friedman BE100 Deluxe If you like my work & want to support me, consider grabbing the ✨full✨ Friedman BE100 Deluxe NAM pack over here: 👉 https://ko-fi.com/2dornam/shop 🙏 ℹ️ Summary To celebrate my first commercial NAM pack release, I’m sharing a subset of quality, calibrated profiles (STANDARD architecture & xSTD architecture) to showcase the range of tones this amp is capable of. AMP (full amp), POW (isolated poweramp section only) & PRE (isolated preamp section only) profiles have been captured for maximum flexibility and accuracy using a high quality, high fidelity signal chain. AMP and POW profiles have been reamped using a real Mesa 4x12 Oversized Straight cabinet as the speaker / cabinet load for the most faithful experience. The full pack covers all 3 channels (Clean, BE & HBE) and contains: • 271 x AMP profiles (each captured in DI, SM57, SM58 and a SM58/SM57 blend) • 150 x PRE profiles • 54 x POW profiles (each captured in DI, SM57, SM58 and a SM58/SM57 blend) … that’s 1,450 individual NAM files 😳 But all profiles are trained twice in both STD (default NAM Standard architecture) and xSTD (slightly enhanced NAM architecture for increased accuracy developed by Андрей Полевой) … 🤯 which takes it to 2,900 individual NAM files with the xSTD architecture accounted for. ✅ Efficiency Streamlined for users across all platforms (Dimehead, Valeton GP-5 etc), AMP & POW profiles each come in 4 flavors: • DI = raw poweramp <-> cab signal tapped with a DI box, no Microphone • SM57 = full-rig chain, cab mic-ed with a Shure SM57 on the top-left speaker • SM58 = full-rig chain, cab mic-ed with a Shure SM58 on the top-right speaker • BLEND = full-rig chain, cab mic-ed with 2 mics blended (Shure SM57 & SM58) ⚙️ Reamp chain details • RME Fireface UCX II -> Lehle P-SPLIT III -> Friedman BE100 Deluxe -> St.Rock React:IR II (Mesa 4x12 OS Straight load) -> RME Fireface UCX II • SEND level: 18.995 dBu • RETURN level: 13.195 dBu Use the new "Calibration" feature in the NAM plugin to get the most out of these profiles: https://www.neuralampmodeler.com/post/neuralampmodelerplugin-v0-7-12-is-released 🏷️ Naming convention summary • [AMP] = full head (pre & poweramp) of the amp head • [PRE] = just the preamp section; use a poweramp + IR or tube power amp & cab with it • [POW] = poweramp only profile; use a preamp with it (and IR if using the DI flavor) • BE100DLX-CLN = the amp was using the CLEAN channel • BE100DLX-BE = the amp was using the BE (Brown Eye) channel • BE100DLX-HBE = the amp was using the HBE (Hairy Brown Eye) channel • STD = uses the STANDARD architecture; works on the Dimehead NAM Player • xSTD = uses a custom architecture (Андрей Полевой) from the NAM FB group 📒 Spreadsheet with settings & inspiration for all BE100DLX profiles: https://mega.nz/file/L5ZV1aTK#gx_ZjwhdF3Hv00AP5gl_ehM3QlzaYIL0mDVcOt6GGYI
