Description
The Hafler T2 is a dual tube rack preamp, released sometime in the late 90's. It features a solid-state clean channel (somewhat underwhelming, in all honesty) and a fantastic 4-stage tube drive channel. The drive channel has a Pull-Gain switch for added gain, a presence control, and both channels share an unusual, but reasonably flexible two-band global EQ. I took five captures of the drive channel, some with the Pull-Gain engaged, and some not. All but one of the captures has the EQ set flat, for better flexibility, but one has a bit of a boost to both Low and High to induce a bit of scoop. I hope you enjoy!
