Description

This was a strange experiment... I saw this done on Instagram the other week, and I had to try it for myself. I was curious if it would be at all possible to create a digital model with such an inconsistent source. So, I bought an inexpensive amp (this Gorilla GB-30 Bass), ripped the grill off, gathered some household items, and performed this capture with one SM57 pointed at around the cap edge of the speaker. Orzo Lentils Sesame Seeds Mail/Bills I got some weird, maybe useful results...

This weird stuff is one of the coolest things about NAM and the Tone3000 community. Thanks for doing fun experiments, love it!
