Ibanez SM7 Smash Box modern distorsion pedal, year ~2005 model. - 4 knobs: Drive (DR), LOW Equalisation (LO), HIGH (HI) Equalization, Level (L). - 3 gate levels (VOID): OFF, Soft, Hard - 2 presence/attack levels (EDGE): Sharp & Smooth 10 for knob goes for MAX. 0 goes for MIN. 2 recommandation presets come from user's notice pdf : - Ultra heavy riff 2000: drive 8, Low 7, High: 6, Hard Gate (void), Sharp Edge - Metal 90's: drive 8, Low 3, High: 5, Soft Gate (void), Smooth Edge Orignal pedal has a little bit more gain than the Tone3000 digitalised model. Add 2db to 7db on the input model block to correct it, especialy the "v1" tones.. and if it sounds, it sounds. Presets and chart: - A low Gain preset for light distorsion/pedal color. - High Gain with a Drive greater than 7 gives to much ESR errors, so pedal level has been adjusted for recommandation preset passing the tone3000 check test. Max Drive is tricky for decent ESR but Max Gain Drive "DR:10" seems to be usable. - "V" is for version. Some old version have lower ESR on A2-lite for physical gears, so i keep it for a2-lite. - Tones sticked "LOWDB" need a dB boost in input and output to be audible, sounds a little bit weird but for experimental..
