Marshall DBS7400 (Céline Designer)

This is a capture of a Marshall DBS7400 schematic built on Céline Audio's circuit simulator. This software emulates (pretty well!) the behaviour of audio gear and pedals. The schematic is from Marshall themselves, only the preamp was replicated faithfully within Céline with both its circuits, although the most interesting one to me is the valve which is why I only captured this one. It sounds good to me, it is fairly clean with a nice low drive that adds subtle harmonics. Very cool amp, I haven't been able to compare it to a real capture though because I couldn't find any. Captures were made using 16x oversampling for maximum quality. The layout is as follows : GAIN : Gain of the amp. More gain does add more harmonics but it's very subtle. BLEND : Blend between solid state (0%) and valve (100%). BRIGHT/DEEP : Corresponding switches which activate a massive low/high boost. HI - High eq. LO - Low eq. V - Volume. As this is fully digital I don't touch that and leave it at noon. This amp was made famous by Chris Wolstenholme from Muse during the early days. All captures normalised at -12dBFS.
