Marshall DSL40c Vintage 30. SM57. Classic Marshall.

My Marshall DSL40c. Incredibly versatile amp, so great in the studio. I swapped out the original speaker for a V30...again for it's versatility. I have a Creamback and a Greenback that I'd like to capture. I'll see how successfully I managed to capture this one. I've tried to capture a midrange overdriven tone. I used the Lead 1 channel and backed the gain off to 4. I've just replaced the grill cloth. It now has a vos paper and cotton weave which is a lot more 'closed' and does have a tiny...really tiny effect on the tone making it a bit darker. That's not a bad thing for me.
