Marshall JCM 900 Ch B w/ SD 805

This is a DI amp head capture, so bring your favorite cab IR. It’s chunky with a nice sharp attack, great for doomy riffs, C to D standard/drop tunings, and big palm mutes that bloom instead of just thud. Amp settings were roughly: Bass 6, Mids 2, Treble 4, Presence 3, Gain 14, Master 4. The SD 805 keeps the front end tighter while still letting the JCM 900 grind come through. You may want to carve the low end with EQ or a multiband compressor to taste depending on your cab IR and tuning.
