Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier — Selected 4

Four full-rig tones captured from a Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier Multi-Watt. Captured at 100W through a Mesa Rectifier 4×12 Oversized cabinet, miked with a Shure SM57 and a Sennheiser e906. The recording chain included Chandler Limited TG2 preamps, two Rupert Neve Designs 551 EQs, and a WesAudio NG76. An Ibanez PTEQ was also used during capture. Reamping and recording were handled by an IK Multimedia TONEX Capture and an RME Fireface UCX. Included tones, in order: • 03 — Modern HiGain 03: Gain 7 / Treble 5 / Middle 3 / Bass 5 / Presence 4. BOSS SD-1 included; Bold. • 15 — Vintage Drive 15: Gain 8 / Treble 6 / Middle 3 / Bass 8 / Presence 7. Bold. • 08 — Pre-Boost Recommended! Modern: Gain 8.5 / Treble 5 / Middle 2 / Bass 6 / Presence 6. This setting is intended for use with an SD-1 or TS-style overdrive placed before the model. • 19 — Clean 19: Gain 9 / Treble 7 / Middle 4 / Bass 4 / Presence 6. Tube / Spongy. Capture calibration values: • Send: 12.14 dBu • Return: 13.4 dBu Enable calibration in a compatible plugin and enter the input reference level for your own audio interface to reproduce the intended gain response and playing feel. (Do not simply enter the Send value above as your audio interface’s input calibration value.) No additional cabinet IR is needed.
