If you didn't get your hands on a real first gen Pabst-FX Headache Fuzz, here's your chance. It's basically a silicon Fuzz Face type distortion with a voltage starve, or bias control. One capture is with the bias all the way down (open), one with it all the way up (gated). Gain and volume are both pretty much on max.
