Description
If you like my work & want to support it, you can do so here: https://ko-fi.com/2dornam 🙏 A collection of quality, calibrated profiles (Standard architecture & xSTD architecture) at a multitude of combinations to capture the range of tones this amp is capable of. The pack includes tones inspired from most YouTube reviews where the sound quality was good & knob positions were visible. Use the new "Calibration" feature in the NAM plugin to get the most out of these profiles: https://www.neuralampmodeler.com/post/neuralampmodelerplugin-v0-7-12-is-released Reamp chain details: ---------------------------- • RME Fireface UCX II -> Lehle P-SPLIT III -> PRS Archon CLASSIC 50 (6CA7) -> St.Rock React:IR II -> RME Fireface UCX II • SEND level: 18.995 dBu • RETURN level: 13.195 dBu Additional details: ----------------------- A few clarifications on the naming convention: • [AMP] = direct profile (IR required) of the amp head • [PRE] = profile of just the preamp section; use a poweramp + IR/cab with it • [POW] = poweramp only profile; use a preamp with it and an IR • ARC50C-LEAD = the amp was using the LEAD channel • ARC50C-CLEAN = the amp was using the CLEAN channel • STD = uses the STANDARD architecture; works on the Dimehead NAM Player • xSTD = uses a custom architecture (Андрей Полевой) from the NAM FB group • A guide to understanding how each profile was dialed & the source of inspiration: https://mega.nz/file/ftpQzADJ#9rEX-oRsSfSezZufd85mejjvEI-zzFwIrZ6xc_KoGG0 !!! ATTENTION, NERDS !!! (yes, that's YOU if you've made it this far): ----------------------------------- You know I like to experiment. I took my efforts of adapting the frequency response of a loadbox to a real cabinet load one step further. Previously, I had supplied an IR which was developed to "tone match" the frequency response of the amp+loadbox to that of the amp+cabinet. While that works alright, it is a static curve. In this pack, I've included 2 NAM profiles which aim to adjust the response to that of a real cab and account for non-linearities: • [FRC] ARC50C ReactiveLoad-to-CabinetLoad #01 • [FRC] ARC50C ReactiveLoad-to-CabinetLoad #02 Use either one of these profiles in series with the [AMP] and [POW] profiles with a "RL" in the title to, essentially, obtain a poweramp response equivalent to that of a Mesa 4x12 Oversized Straight cabinet loading it down. With current limitations on reamping using a real cabinet (living conditions, neighbors etc.), this method can be used to mimic the real cab load behavior with the smallest amount of environmental noise & somewhat replicating in NAM what Fractal Audio Systems offers in their units - the "Speaker Impedance Curve" adjustment
