The signal path uses the Xotic SP Compressor ahead of everything to tighten pick attack and even out dynamics before hitting the gain stages, followed by the 1981 Inventions LVL as a clean boost/volume utility to shape input level and headroom into the Soul Driven. The Soul Driven itself is driven harder than its baseline setting ("pushed"), producing a thicker, more saturated midrange breakup that sits between a classic blues-rock crunch and a fuller drive tone, characteristic of the Soul Driven's KT-style/Marshall-inspired voicing. The Xotic EP Booster is placed after the drive stage (or as an always-on unity/boost element) to add a slight treble lift and output push into the Two Rock's front end, emphasizing pick articulation and adding harmonic sparkle without significantly altering the fundamental gain character established by the Soul Driven.
