Description

Capture of the Splawn Competition 50 (Gear 1). A classic Marshall-style crunch with plenty of punch, clarity, and dynamics. In my opinion, it sounds best when paired with Greenback speakers. The direct (DI) capture was created using a Suhr Reactive Load IR.

Are gearing up for 2nd and 3rd gear also soon? The IR I'm using is has some "live" feeling low-end. Could you have a "slim" version that has the bass rolled off? Maybe 3-ish for any one of you cool captures?
