Description

The Splawn Quick Rod is connected directly to a MOTU UltraLite-mk5 using the amplifier's line-level output, with no speaker cabinet attached to the recording chain. The UltraLite-mk5's transparent, high-headroom converters preserve every nuance of the amp's aggressive British-inspired character—from the razor-sharp pick attack and articulate midrange to the thick, harmonically rich saturation the Quick Rod is known for.
