TC Electronic - Tube Pilot

Captures of the TC Electronic Tube Pilot Overdrive. The Tube Pilot is a real 12AX7 vacuum tube-driven overdrive pedal designed to deliver authentic, vintage tube-amp style breakup and warmth. Powered by an actual preamp tube under the hood, it offers a distinct, touch-sensitive dynamic response that shifts naturally from warm, harmonically rich edge-of-breakup tones into thick, singing tube saturation as you dig in. Notably, this pedal plays a key role in shaping the guitar tones heard across songs by the band Pave. This pack captures the pure, uncompressed tube character of the unit across various stages of drive, showcasing how the internal 12AX7 reacts from mild warmth to full-bodied breakup. All captures have the Master/Out level dialed in for optimal unity and headroom, with the Tube Drive knob swept across six distinct stages. The gain levels are labeled 1 through 6: 1 = Tube Drive @ minimum (warm, clean tube boost / edge-of-breakup) 2 = Tube Drive @ 9 o'clock (subtle grit with dynamic pick response) 3 = Tube Drive @ 10:30 (light, responsive overdrive) 4 = Tube Drive @ noon (classic mid-gain tube crunch) 5 = Tube Drive @ 1:30 (rich, saturated overdrive with singing sustain) 6 = Tube Drive @ 3 o'clock (thick, fully driven tube lead tone)
