My main bass tone for all things heavy rock related. Expect an aggressive but articulate overdriven tone. This is my secret weapon and preferred alternative to Darkglass pedals. Depending on your bass it could be a bit heavy around the 1,5-2khz range, in that case a bell shaped cut will make it sound smoother. Use as is without IRs and with gain all the way down on your interface. Lower the gain less than intended with the input on your plugin and get a more dynamic and smoother sound. It works brilliantly and pretty much just like reducing the gain on the real thing. I often pair it in tandem with clean DI-tone to blend in some punch as this is a compressed tone.
