Udo 30 - AC30 Top boost at 4 gain settings

These are captures of a VOX AC30 Top boost from march 1970. It still has the original Celestion Silver Alnicos with a 1969 date code. I bought this amp from a film and TV composer in Hamburg and he got it from Karl Allaut who used to play guitar for german artist like Udo Lindenberg, Inga Rumpf, Marius Müller-Westernhagen, Stefan Remmler, Achim Reichel. This amp might have been on tour or in the studio with Udo Lindenbergs Panikorchester in the 70ies. It has been modified by it's original owner to have a diode rectifier, i kept that, recaped the amp and changed out some noisy resistors. The captures were taken of the "Brilliant" channel with a Beyerdynamic M201. Knob settings are in the file name with clock positions for the Cut, Bass, Treble and Volume. The capture sounds pretty damn close, but NAM A2 is not able recreate the ghosting of this amp properly.
