VHT VALVULATOR × LINE 6 POD 2.0

Jun Senoue's soundtrack to Sonic Adventure 2 (and much of Sonic Heroes) was famously recorded using a VHT Valvulator and a LINE 6 POD Pro (the rack model of the POD 2.0). I've captured his most-used settings in order to make these guitar tones widely accessible for free. If you want "the sound of SA2", please start with the Modern Hi Gain + 1996 Marshall or the Rectified + Line 6 Custom, both of which were used extensively throughout the soundtrack. Included: • VHT Valvulator - LINE 6 POD 2.0 (Modern Hi Gain + 1996 Marshall 4x12 V30) Used on Live & Learn, Green Forest, Pyramid Cave, Prison Lane, Mission Street, Hidden Base, etc... • VHT Valvulator - LINE 6 POD 2.0 (Modern Hi Gain + LINE 6 Custom 4x12) Used on Live & Learn, Eternal Engine, Masters of the Desert, etc... • VHT Valvulator - LINE 6 POD 2.0 (Rectified + 1996 Marshall 4x12 V30) Used on Radical Highway, Sky Rail, etc... • VHT Valvulator - LINE 6 POD 2.0 (Rectified + LINE 6 Custom 4x12) Used on City Escape, Metal Harbor, Crazy Gadget, Final Rush, etc... Note: It is strongly recommended to use a guitar with an EMG humbucker in the bridge position. Senoue used many guitars in the soundtrack to SA2, but his primary instruments featured an EMG 89 in the bridge position, and it has a significant impact on the resulting sound. However, even if you only have a guitar with passive or single-coil pickups, you can still enjoy a sound very close to what's heard in the game. Note that as these profiles include a cabinet model, you should not load an impulse response with them.
