These captures were created using a professional reamping workflow designed to preserve every detail of the Victory Super Kraken amplifier without a speaker cabinet. The amplifier's direct signal was captured immediately after the power amp, providing an accurate representation of the amp's gain structure, dynamics, punch, and harmonic content while allowing users to pair it with any impulse response or cabinet simulation. The signal path utilizes a MOTU UltraLite-mk5 audio interface for transparent A/D and D/A conversion. Reamping and capture were performed in REAPER using the official Neural Amp Modeler (NAM) capture process, ensuring precise level matching and highly accurate machine-learning training. Special attention was given to optimizing signal levels, minimizing noise, and maintaining the Super Kraken's natural response throughout the capture process. No speaker cabinet, impulse response, EQ, compression, or post-processing was applied during the capture. The result is a pure amp profile that faithfully reproduces the Victory Super Kraken's aggressive modern high-gain character, tight low end, articulate mids, and cutting top-end clarity.
