Description

13 captures of Wampler's two-channel drive: an OD channel in the style of a British Silver Jubilee amp, and a DS channel with a California boutique (Mark IIC+-style) voice. Both channels have their own Level, Tone, Gain and Character switch, and an order switch sets which channel comes first when both are on. Knob positions are clock times (12:00 = noon). REFERENCE CAPTURES (single channel) GJ-01 Crunch – OD, Character Normal, Gain 10:00, Tone 12:00 GJ-02 Core crunch – OD, Character Normal, Gain 2:00, Tone 12:00 GJ-03 Lead – DS, Character Bright, Gain 1:00, Tone 12:00 GJ-04 Hard-clip crunch – OD, Character Hard Clipping, Gain 2:00, Tone 12:00 BRIAN WAMPLER'S SUGGESTED SETTINGS (from the manual) GJ-05 Blues crunch – OD, Gain ~11:00, Tone ~1:30, Level ~12:30 GJ-06 Classic crunch – OD, Gain ~2:00, Tone 12:00, Level ~12:30 GJ-07 Lead boost – DS, Gain ~1:30, Tone ~10:30, Level ~10:30 GJ-08 Meaty distortion – DS, Gain ~4:00, Tone ~11:00, Level ~10:30 GJ-09 Solo crunch (stack, DS into OD) – DS Gain ~2:00, Tone ~11:00, Level ~10:30 | OD Gain ~3:00, Tone ~1:30, Level 12:00 GJ-10 Fluid solo (stack, OD into DS) – OD Gain ~2:00, Tone ~8:00, Level 12:00 | DS Gain ~2:00, Tone 12:00, Level ~10:30 STACKS GJ-11 OD into DS – GJ-02's OD into GJ-03's DS GJ-12 DS into OD – same settings, reverse order GJ-13 OD as a boost into DS – OD Gain 9:00 at +6 dB over bypass OUTPUT LEVEL These captures keep the pedal's real output level; nothing was normalized.
