AMT HR-1 Heater (Tube Screamer-style Overdrive/Booster) — 2 Gain Stages AMT is a Russian company based in Omsk that manufactures guitar gear and amplification. They are widely known for their pedals. The HR-1 Heater is not a preamp, but a JFET-based overdrive/booster that serves as a modern, aggressive take on the legendary Tube Screamer. It is designed to push an amp or another preamp, adding tightness and saturation. The Tone knob is set to neutral/center — no additional coloration from the tone control is added. Only the Drive knob was used to capture two gain stages: 1. Low 2. High Each capture is a separate file. All sounds are normalized — levels are matched between captures. The gain stages are carefully matched to provide maximum flexibility and overlap across the entire gain range. If you need a clean boost — just lower the gain on the Low capture. If you need more saturation — take the High capture and push the gain higher.
