Description

AMT S2 (Soldano SLO-100 Emulation) — Flat EQ, 2 Gain Stages AMT is a Russian company based in Omsk that manufactures guitar gear and amplification. They are widely known for their pedals, and among them, the Legend Amps series holds a special place. What I like most about this series is the implementation of the cab sim — a cabinet (speaker) emulation feature. It is designed in such a way that if you use this cab sim, the live speakers you plug the pedal into effectively become guitar cabinets. They respond to dynamics and sound architecture in a way that makes it feel as if the guitar isn't just running through a cabinet, but the speakers themselves are the cabinet. Captured from the cab sim output of the AMT S2 pedal (Soldano SLO-100 emulation). All EQ knobs (Bass, Middle, Treble) are set to neutral/center — no EQ coloration is added. Only the Gain knob was used to capture two gain stages: 1. Crunch 2. Drive Since in the Legend Amps series pedals, the EQ section is placed after the preamp in the signal chain, you can easily emulate their behavior using the EQ controls in TONE3000. Each capture is a separate file. All sounds are normalized — levels are matched between captures. No additional processing, no EQ, no effects. The gain stages are carefully matched to provide maximum flexibility and overlap across the entire gain range. If you need a clean sound — just lower the gain on the Crunch capture. If you need a high-gain sound — take the Drive capture and push the gain higher.
