Axe-Fx II XL+ — FULL RIG — Dean Bass Tight

Full-rig capture of "Dean Bass Tight" — my touring bass tone, straight off the Axe-Fx II XL+ (Quantum 10.01). The preset is a parallel dual-amp rig I built years ago: an SVT-style amp (SV Bass) keeps the low end clean and huge, while a Blackglass 7K drive into a FAS Crunch amp handles the distorted top — each into its own cab, summed. Lows stay pure, highs grind. Captured full-rig over USB with the sweep method at bass-realistic input level — both amps, both cabs, drive, and post-EQ baked in. No IR needed. Compressor, gate, pitch, and time effects were bypassed for the capture; add compression to taste after. This is my working tone, not a studio experiment: six years live with Nita Strauss, the bass sound on Prong's Live and Uncleansed, and the rig I run nightly on tour — into an SVT power section and an 8x10, FOH on the same feed. Use it for aggressive picked bass, drop tunings, anything that needs clean fundamental with teeth on top.
