Description

Fender MH-500 Metalhead. A bit of a mixed bag if I'm being honest. Not the most impressive distortion sounds OOTB, but it's possible to make them sound good. ・Clean channel. Very clean, not much to say there. ・Dirty channel with two modes - Tight Drive and Loose Drive. 。Tight Drive has that "classic rock" type of voicing. The amount of gain is not that impressive, may want to use a boost on it. 。Loose Drive has more gain, but it also gets more shrill if the EQs are set at noon. Don't be afraid to tame the treble a lot on this. [LEGEND] ・CLN - Clean channel ・DRTY - Dirty channel ・TD - Tight Drive ・LD - Loose Drive [NOTES] ・All the models are captured with 8x oversampling and 64 iterations for the highest quality possible. ・All controls are flat so you can hear the amp as it is with neutral settings. I may add additional captures with "ideal" settings, but that's not a priority for now.. ・Should you wish to push more gain into the captures, use a separate gain utility/plugin and a clipper/waveshaper/limiter with a ceiling of -0.1dB or less before your NAM loader to prevent nuking the models if the input signal gets too hot. === First ever NAM captures with Architecture 2. About time I hopped on the bandwagon. A2 has been a significant improvement from its predecessor. I enjoyed the results so much that I decided to make NAM captures of some of my own LiveSPICE schematic files, primarily for convenience and CPU usage - especially with my music "workstation" being an early 2011 13" MacBook Pro as a Linux machine. More to come... === LiveSPICE: https://livespice.org/ Original LiveSPICE .schx schematic file: https://github.com/MARKTHERENCE/LiveSPICE-MK-Circuits

thank you so much for this one, weirdly enough the clean channel of this amp appeared to be by far the best and perfect platform for my very high gain pedalboard. I got exactly what I wanted, glass like transparency in terms of speed and harmonic transient response and nice tone shaping with gentle mid scoop through whole midrange with very transparent top end. omg I was looking this for so long, and I tried almost all well-known clean headroom pedal platforms including your hiwatt sim captures, which was my choice before this . After your model I did some research for this amp and I think fore very niche use (like mine) this could be hidden gem, even considering purchasing real one, cus they are cheaper on used market, if you can find one

7/22/2026 UPDATE: Recaptured the whole amp as I still had some issues with the input signal blending in with the captures.
