Fender Pawn Shop - Ramparte

This is our beloved Fender Pawn Shop... Mr Ramparte. Despite these things being pretty cheap on the used market, they're pretty sought after and rare these days. In our opinion, some of the best sounding amps fender has ever put out and we use this fella for MOST if not ALL recording sessions since we got it. Tonnes of personality and super fun. No nonsense controls. Two channels: Cool and Hot as well as corresponding volumes... that's IT. Mic'd with a classic combination of SM57 and R-121 with the ability to hear them summed together. As ever for the Blue Bell Hill Studios Collection, the amp runs through our early 1987 SSL G console which was used to record and mix Busted, McFly, Raye, Sam Fender, Jungle, Arctic Monkeys and Kasabian amongst many others through the years.
