Description

Setting in photo. The capture is of this original unmodified pedal in the photo. It's beautiful in front of so many tones. Try it out! An original 1982 Ibanez Tube Screamer. Captured using a Radial Reamp HP Studio. Put it in front of any amp capture. It sounds great. The TS-9 was introduced by Ibanez in 1982 as part of their “9-series” of effects. It followed the preceding TS-808 (“Tube Screamer 808”) but made some subtle circuit changes — mostly in the output section — that slightly altered its tonal response. The original TS-9s were built in Japan, by Maxon (or under license / manufacturing by Maxon / Nisshin Onpa).
