Laney Ironheart IRT-SLS

The Laney Ironheart IRT-SLS is a super underrated piece of gear. Here's my capture of my High Gain, Crunch and Clean settings. It sounds amazing for any sub genre of metal, rock and, well, anything you like really. Try out some IRs to find your tone. I haven't captured any time-based effects, reverbs or compressors. Only the amp itself. THERE'S NO CAB CAPTURED. So using an IR is essential. Laney Ironheart IRT-SLS High Gain - A powerful, mid-focused high gain tone with great resonance perfect for most every subgenre of metal and heavy rock, particularly the highly sort after modern high-gain tones. While this tone is high gain, it's still very articulate if you're wanting to play single string riffs or more intricate riffs found in metalcore, prog metal and the likes. Can be used for either heavy rhythms or leads. Laney Ironheart IRT-SLS Crunch - A great rock tone perfect for hard rock or even the heavier side of blues. It's got that great tone if you're wanting to play some AC/DC, Kiss, Rose Tattoo (R.I.P Angry), etc. If you put an overdrive in front of this preset and you'll get a great heavy metal tone that will sound great for Iron Maiden, Guns N Roses or even Load/Reload era Metallica. Laney Ironheart IRT-SLS Clean - A really nice clean tone with a hint of grit that will cut through a mix. This is versatile clean tone for all genres of music. Add some reverb, delay and/or even a chorus to really make this tone sing.
