Hey everyone! Excited to share a brand-new pack of exclusive Impulse Responses captured straight from my Marshall 2551AV cabinet (Silver Jubilee 4x12, loaded with Celestion G12 Vintage speakers).
Standard, ultra-linear cab captures often sound flat or lifeless to my ears. To fix this, I inject my own personal recipe: this brings back the physical punch, dynamic saturation, and warm harmonic richness that conventional IRs can miss.
For this session, I went with a focused, surgical setup: two Shure SM57s—one straight on-axis, one angled off-axis—plus an optimized blend of both.

Configuration: Single straight on-axis Shure SM57 positioned right at the speaker sweet spot.
Vibe: Raw, aggressive, and razor-sharp bite. The industry-standard reference for pure cut-through in heavy mixes and direct in-your-face punch.

Configuration: Single angled off-axis Shure SM57 targeting the cone edge.
Vibe: Darker, smoother top-end, and thicker low-mids. Tames harsh fizz while keeping a focused, muscular midrange.
2551AV_SM57_Blend
Configuration: Perfect phase-aligned blend of both the on-axis and off-axis SM57s.
Vibe: The ultimate balanced tone. Combines cutting presence and articulation with natural body and punch, without any comb filtering.
📦 Two Formats Included:
8192 Samples (Hi-Res Master / ~170 ms): Full-length, uncompromised captures preserving every micro-reflection and deep low-end detail. Best for DAWs (Cabinetron, NadIR, Mixir, LUNA, etc.).
2048 Samples (Short Hardware-Ready / ~42 ms): Optimized, low-latency versions tailored for pedalboard IR loaders, modelers, and DSP-limited units (Quad Cortex, Tonex, Torpedo, etc.).
