Mesa/Boogie Mark IV (SPICE, C++)

This pack contains five Neural Amp Modeler captures based on a digital recreation of the Mesa/Boogie Mark IV. Rather than capturing a physical amplifier, the original tube circuit was recreated in software and simulated using a standalone amplifier simulator I'm developing. The amplifier is modeled using my own C++ circuit simulation engine, which draws on SPICE-style circuit simulation techniques to reproduce the electrical behavior of the amplifier's components and circuit topology. This engine is also the foundation for a larger project to develop standalone amplifier simulators based on original amplifier schematics. The pack includes nine captures (four with my current Vintage 30 + SM57 sim prototype, four without plus the boost) based on the Mark IV's Factory Sample Settings, as documented in the original amplifier manual: Clean, Crunch, and Lead, along with a Boosted Lead variant using a modeled Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer in front of the amplifier. A separate TS9 Booster capture is also included for use with other captures or amplifier models. These captures provide a starting point for exploring the Mark IV's range of tones, from clean and edge-of-breakup sounds to heavier, saturated lead tones, while preserving the character of the manufacturer's documented settings.
