MOOER YELLOW COMP

Mooer Yellow Comp (Optical Compressor) — Flat EQ, 3 Comp Stages Mooer is a company known for its compact and affordable guitar effects pedals. The Yellow Comp is an optical compressor that has gained a reputation as a budget-friendly alternative to the legendary Diamond Compressor . It uses a classic optical compression circuit designed to preserve the natural attack and transients of your playing, adding smoothness and sustain without overly squashing the tone . For these captures, the EQ knob was set to neutral/center — no additional tone shaping was applied. The Volume knob was left at a fixed position and does not affect the captures. Only the Comp knob was used to capture three distinct compression stages: 1. Low 2. Mid 3. High Each capture is a separate file. All sounds are normalized — levels are matched between captures. The compression stages are carefully matched to provide maximum flexibility and overlap across the entire range. If you need a subtle, always-on sweetening — use the Low capture. If you want a more pronounced, squashy compression for funk or country — take the High capture.
