MP512 Mic Pre (API 512c ish) / Soundskulptor

If you want Rock Sound™️this is the mic pre to use. The famous 2520 op amp architecture alongside vintage in / out transformers, that defined the American sound of the 70ies and 80ies. Modern, midforward, colored. Great for guitars, drums or bass with an attitude. Unlike the vintage APIs the MP512 has the advantage of an additional output pad which enables the unit to be driven harder without overloading subsequent digital inputs. More drive means more warmth, more punch, more mids - aka "bigger" sound. This preamp can be switched between low, mid & high gain operating points with gain levels that allow values from 0 - 10db each.
