RT Swollen Pickle

Captures of my Way Huge Swollen Pickle MkIIS. As you may know, the controls on this pedal are very interactive with each other, and there is a near-infinite amount of tones you can get from it. I decided to limit myself to 8 captures, mostly using the settings I use most often. I dialled most of these in with a plexi-style amp with a touch of breakup, with the exception of the "5150 Smasher" capture, which was dialled in through an EVH 5150 III 6L6 on the Red channel, with a lot of gain. This is meant to give you results similar to the Putney/Knocked Loose sound, although everyone does it slightly differently. This is just how I do it (sometimes with a tubescreamer after the Swollen Pickle). Three of the captures are the sample settings from the user manual (Little Around The Edges, Seattle Plaid, and Vaporizer Doon). Calibrated at 14 dBu I have also calibrated the output level for each capture, so the output knob of the capture block may need to be adjusted depending on your setup. The internal potentiometers are set as follows: - Stock settings (both fully clockwise): Fuzzy Chords, Smooth Lead, Vaporizer Doon, Seattle Plaid, Little Around The Edges - My preferred settings ("Clip" fully counterclockwise, "Voice" fully clockwise): Lofi Buzz, Aggro Velcro - "Amp go BRRRT" settings (both fully counterclockwise): 5150 Smasher Signal chain: Avid Mbox Studio (line out) > Radial Reamp Station (reamp box) > Swollen Pickle > Avid Mbox Studio (instrument input) This only scratches the surface of what this pedal can do, but it would take a lifetime to cover it all.
