Description

DAW Test Sweep > AxeFxIII USB In > Output 3 > Throbak Stone Bender > AxeFxIII Input 3 > DAW wet recording Critical User Notes: Use your guitar volume knob: This capture was calibrated to capture the legendary "germanium cleanup." At a guitar volume of 10, it is unhinged and on edge of structural collapse - just like the real circuit. To get glassy, dynamic crunch and edge-of-breakup textures, roll your guitar's volume knob down...way down sounds better than way up. Don't be afraid to turn down the output level of this capture to level-match your preset. Lowering the output volume will help to perfectly balance your volume without altering the internal fuzz characteristics, gain structure, or dynamic response of the capture. Capture was taken with settings shown in the attached picture. Lots of Volume and the Attack was in the sweet spot for the internal bias settings of this particular pedal. Lots of flavors can be had here. Classic late-60's British psych-rock textures if you are using single-coils, and heavy blues-rock sustain if you are using humbuckers.
