Allomorph is the first collection of pickup and control-harness digital twins engineered for Neural Amp Modeler (NAM) and the Darkglass Anagram pedalboard.
Rather than modeling an amplifier or speaker cabinet, these models capture the fundamental electro-acoustic physics of:
• Pickup coil inductances, eddy currents, and DC resistance
• Magnetic aperture geometry and spatial string comb-filtering
• Era-accurate potentiometer loading and tone capacitor values
• Instrument cable capacitance drag (750 pF)

This edition is specifically calibrated for a 34" Standard Precision Bass with stock passive split-coil pickups. Through exact differential deconvolution, Allomorph neutralizes your stock pickup's loaded electrical resonance and spatial aperture, reconstructing the authentic acoustic and electrical twin of each target instrument in real time.

Why Block 1? Drive and preamp circuits react directly to pickup resonant peaks. Placing Allomorph first ensures downstream pedals distort authentic vintage or active resonant envelopes rather than an unshaped DI.

Sadowsky-style active 2-band buffer with cable isolation (1M in, 100 ohm out). Coils resonate freely at ~7.8 kHz without cable drag. Delivers wideband sparkle, tight low end (+4 dB @ 40 Hz), crystalline treble (+4 dB @ 4 kHz), and authentic 60s dual-aperture midrange scoop.
02. Vintage '60s Jazz Bass Pair (Parallel)
Authentic 1960s dual single-coils in parallel (3 5/8" spacing) loaded by dual 250k volume pots (125k net) and a 47nF cap. Natural woody low-mid resonance (2.7 kHz peak) with classic wide-aperture phase cancellation at 1 kHz.
03. '60s Jazz Bass Pair (22nF ToneStyler Sweet Spot)
Dual single-coils with a 22nF ToneStyler pure capacitive shunt. Eliminates wiper resistance to produce an undamped 762 Hz vocal midrange bump (-3 dB @ 1225 Hz), filtering clank while preserving aggressive Jaco/Miller bridge bite with zero wiper mud.
04. '60s Jazz Bridge Growl (Jaco Bias: Bridge 100%, Neck 75%)
Classic Jaco fingerstyle setting: Bridge at 100%, Neck rolled to ~75% (55k wiper resistance). Pulls the acoustic comb notch into the vocal 550–800 Hz register for signature vocal "burp" and growl while keeping punchy low-end body.
05. '60s Jazz Bridge Single-Coil
Relocates magnetic sensing to the authentic 60s bridge datum (63.5mm from bridge). Narrow 0.75" aperture loaded by vintage 250k pots. Focused midrange bite (800 Hz–1.6 kHz) with articulate, percussive staccato finger attack.

07. Vintage '62 P-Bass (Alnico V - Tone Open)
Iconic 1962 Fullerton Alnico V split-coil (3.8H) with vintage CTS 250k pots and 47nF paper-in-oil cap wide open. Lower eddy damping yields organic touch sensitivity, woody bloom, and open harmonic extension (2.1 kHz loaded peak).
08. Vintage '62 Split-P (22nF ToneStyler Punch)
Vintage '62 split-coil with a modern Fender-spec 22nF ToneStyler pure capacitive shunt. Concentrates energy into an undamped, punchy 440 Hz low-mid peak (+1.5 dB, -3 dB @ 750 Hz), eliminating fret rattle while retaining forward mix punch.
09. Vintage '62 Split-P Motown Thump (47nF ToneStyler Flatwound)
Legendary Jamerson/Pino flatwound tone: vintage Alnico split-coil with 47nF ToneStyler pure capacitive shunt and flatwound string damping. Resonant peak at 450 Hz with steep rolloff above 800 Hz for pillowy sub-bass mass and zero clatter.
10. Vintage '50s Split-P Deep Dub (100nF ToneStyler Fullerton Spec)
Original 1951–1959 Fullerton factory 0.1µF (100nF) paper-in-oil spec with zero wiper damping. Massive sub-bass shelf rolloff (-3 dB @ 240 Hz) for subterranean dub and reggae thump that shakes the room without mud.
