Yeah, I would say 2.5-2.75 OA works best for me when mic-ing this speaker. My DSL40CR has this installed. I'm looking forward to trying these with a head-only capture that I'm about to collect from the DSL. So it will be interesting to compare 1) the amp sound/feel in real life to 2) a mic-ed full-rig capture from the V-Type speaker, and 3) a head-only capture played through your IR. Fun times.
