David Gilmour: On an Island Tone Collection

Among my favorite Gilmour tones are high gain tube driver ones. Here I am trying to capture the tone of the outro Solo of "On an Island" in the four published versions: - Studio - Gdansk - Remember that Night - Pompei It is played on the bridge pickup and one should add a bit off delay and reverb. My strat has a very hot and mid focused bridge pickup. if you have a more traditional strategy bridge pickup perhaps crank the input a bit and perhaps the mids too. The chain captured is: Cali1176 -> B.K. butler Tube Driver -> Hi-Tone DG50 -> Custom Gilmour IR -> EQ.
