Description

EarthQuaker Devices Plumes Signal Shredder — Full Analog Pedal Pack (Direct Line Capture) This pack features 15 ultra-precise, direct line-level captures of the acclaimed EarthQuaker Devices Plumes Signal Shredder. Designed as a versatile standalone drive suite, it is also the perfect companion to my Marshall 6100LM 30th Anniversary Pack. Thanks to its all-analog signal path and 3-way clipping switch, this pedal offers 3 distinct circuit topologies: - Mode 1 (Symmetrical LED Clipping): Crunchy, punchy, and aggressive with a focused upper-mid bite. - Mode 2 (Op-Amp Clean Boost): Pure uncompressed headroom, perfect for slamming valve front-ends hard. - Mode 3 (Asymmetrical Silicon Clipping): Warm, transparent, and tube-like overdrive with organic compression. 🎛️ Pack Breakdown (15 Profiles) Signature M6100 (3 Profiles): My 3 personal signature boost settings (#05 Mode 1 LED, #10 Mode 2 Op-Amp, #15 Mode 3 Silicon) crafted specifically to tighten, boost, and transform the channels of my Marshall 6100LM. Mode 1 — LED Suite (4 Profiles + Signature): Ranging from open LED clean boosts to tight thrash/modern rhythm tightening and saturated heavy drives. Mode 2 — Op-Amp Suite (4 Profiles + Signature): From pure, linear headroom boosts to presence-sculpting boosters and specialized Single Coil / P90 sweeteners designed to tame harsh high-end spikes. Mode 3 — Silicon Suite (4 Profiles + Signature): Classic TS-style warmth with a twist, creamy liquid leads, razor-sharp modern rhythm focus, and smooth fuzz-like drive saturation. ⚠️ CRITICAL: Use "RAW" Mode on the Pedal Instance All profiles were captured with a fixed Midas M32R input gain across the entire pack. This preserves the pedal's true output level variations relative to your dry DI signal—especially important for Mode 2 (Op-Amp), which has a massive natural volume output! Enable "RAW" mode (or disable output normalization) ONLY in the NAM instance hosting the pedal profile. Leave your amplifier NAM instance in standard normalized mode. This ensures high-level pedal presets (like Clean Boosts) naturally push your amp model harder, perfectly replicating the physical pedal's behavior. Calibration note (without "Calibrate input" option): For optimal response, feed the pedal plugin with a DI signal around −10 dBFS peak for High-Output Humbuckers or −14 dBFS peak for Single Coils / P90s. If you prefer keeping the Input Calibration toggle ON in NAM, set the input calibration value to -10 dB. 💡 Signal Chain & Technical Specs Captured using a 100% balanced, high-fidelity studio chain: Radial J48 DI → Midas M32R preamps → Direct Line Capture. (Note: These are direct pedal captures meant to be loaded BEFORE an amp profile or physical amplifier setup).
