Framus Cobra v1-2 & v5 (LiveSPICE2NAM)

Framus Cobra versions 1-2 and 5. In my opinion, probably *the* holy grail of metal guitar tones. I don't think there's anything else like it in gain structure and voicing. It's not a one trick pony and is capable of more than what its reputation lets on, but metal is what it excels at. I wasn't even aware that there were a few revisions of it before I drew the schematic files for them, fascinating that they sound substantially different from each other... One thing to note is that the "Deep" control is quite unique - it's a preamp tube stage that also has a bearing on the overall power amp coloration. Usually this kind of low end control is more commonly placed on the phase inverters before the power amp. Kinda funny that it warrants a separate .schx file because it will affect the preamp gain structure and/or power amp headroom otherwise. This is also the most I've yapped about guitar amps lol, my apologies. ・Clean clannel w/ Bright switch. Honestly the best cleans I've ever heard from a metal amp. ・Crunch channel w/ Notch switch. The main star of the amp, some of the most satisfying rhythm tones are found here. ・Lead channel w/ Notch switch. More gain. It gets pretty hairy when pushed hard. Some may like it, others don't. I'm on the former camp.
