Description

[IMPORTANT] These are new captures that use Céline, a new SPICE-based realtime circuit simulator. This upload supersedes the old one that were made with LiveSPICE, but the latter will remain available for posterity. --- Marshall 1987x with Jose Arredondo-style mods and KT77 power tubes (for now, at least, as 6550s/KT88s are not a part of Céline's pentode library as of writing this.) Heavily based on fusedbrain's schematic diagram: https://www.rig-talk.com/forum/threads/schematic-for-jose-build.201708/page-2#post-2246543 Took me too long to get to the mother of all modded Marshalls. Talk about loads of gain for days... wow. I completely understand now why it's touted as the holy grail of high gain Marshall circuits. ・Original circuit had two gain pots and bright switches. The ones from the 2nd tube stage were omitted for a JCM800-style preamp instead. ・Three diode clipping styles: 。5.1V Zeners 。9V Zeners 。Both zeners in an asymmetrical configuration ・"Punch" and "Hair" switches for the power amp section. Basically emphasizes low and high frequencies, respectively. ・Preamp and poweramp sections are also provided separately. [LEGEND] ・FULL - Preamp + poweramp ・PRE - Preamp section ・PWR - Poweramp section ・BR - Bright ・H - Headroom ・CLP - Diode Clipping ・PNCH - "Punch" (Depth) ・HAIR - "Hair" (Presence) [NOTES] ・All the models are captured with 4x oversampling for the highest quality possible. ・All the controls are flat so you can hear the amp as it is with neutral settings. I may add additional captures with "ideal" settings, but that's not a priority for now.. ・Should you wish to push more gain into the captures, use a separate gain utility/plugin and a clipper/waveshaper/limiter with a ceiling of -0.1dB or less before your NAM loader to prevent nuking the models if the input signal gets too hot. === Céline: https://celine-audio.github.io/CelineWebsite/ Céline .celsch schematic files: https://github.com/MARKTHERENCE/Celine-emy-Circuits === There has been some interest for me to have an option for people who'd like to donate for my work, so here's my PayPal link *only* if you feel generous: https://paypal.me/83ennui Making these captures take a lot of time, from researching the schematic diagrams (whether original or reproduced with certain degrees of verification), to cross-referencing from various gear presentations and demos, and several passes of training the captures to determine the adjustments needed with the Celine models/components for the most accurate/ideal simulation possible.
