Marshall Silver Jubilee Reissue Head 2555x

Here are some captures of one of my favourite Marshall amps. Sounds great with a 4x12 Marshall Greenback IR. Also works well with V30 IRs. The EQ network is very interactive, with a wide sweep range. There's a lot of ways to dial in this amp, but I prefer to run lower preamp gain / higher master volume for more power tube distortion. I like to boost amps with overdrive pedals for more aggressive tones. I usually use separate pedals/captures in conjunction with my amp tones for a more modular/flexible approach. I've included some captures boosted with a Way Huge Green Rhino (Tube Screamer-style circuit) and a Boss Super Overdrive to give you an idea of what the amp sounds like boosted.
