Description

Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier 1998 Rev G – Full Amp Capture Epochs Aim: 400 A2 Standard | Reamp Box: Countryman 85 Experience one of the most iconic high-gain amplifiers ever produced, the Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier Rev G, captured to deliver the low end, aggressive midrange punch and character that defined countless rock and metal records throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s. Widely regarded as one of the most sought-after Dual Rectifier revisions, the Rev G combines crushing saturation with a unique balance of warmth, aggression, and articulation. Its signature sound features a huge, authoritative low end, rich harmonic content, and a midrange that allows guitars to sound enormous while still commanding their place in a mix. This package includes full gain captures of both the Orange and Red channels, covering the amplifier's entire gain range to provide everything from aggressive hard rock crunch to the thick, saturated high-gain tones that made the Rectifier a genre-defining amplifier. Whether you're after tight modern metal rhythms, massive drop-tuned riffs, or singing lead tones, these captures preserve the unmistakable character of the original amplifier. Compared to tighter, more focused modern high-gain amplifiers, the Dual Rectifier delivers a broader, more organic response with a distinctive low-end thump and three-dimensional feel that has become synonymous with modern heavy guitar music. Please Note: This is a full amplifier capture package featuring both the Orange and Red channels across their complete gain ranges. No cabinet IR is included, allowing you to pair the captures with your preferred cabinet simulations.

Thank you very much, amazing work! modern ch. captures with a boost in front - one of the best (in not the best) Mesa sound I ever got (and I own two rectifiers...)
