Input Type: Make sure your input is set to Instrument (Hi-Z) — not Line or Mic. This matches the impedance of your guitar and allows NAM to respond naturally. Pads & Attenuation: Ensure no -20dB pad or similar input attenuation is engaged. This can weaken your guitar’s signal and reduce dynamic accuracy. NAM Plugin Settings: In the Neural Amp Modeler VST, use unity gain (0.0dB) on input and output levels unless otherwise specified.
