Description

These Peavey 6505 Lead Channel captures were captured at different times over the past year and trained for Architecture 2. I took 6 settings and trained them with the following loads: -Suhr Reactive Load (SRL Suffix) to take advantage of my recently upgraded audio path -Mesa Traditional 4x12 (4FB Suffix) for the ideal load to this amp Six tone settings are provided in the following order: Pre-Gain - Bass - Mid - Treble - Post-Gain - Resonance - Presence 1 - Pr-4 B-5 M-2 T-6 Po-1 R-6 P-7 2 - Pr-4 B-5 M-4 T-6.5 Po-1 R-6.5 P-7.5 3 - Pr-4 B-5 M-5 T-6 Po-1 R-7 P-7.5 4 - Pr-4 B-6 M-4 T-7 Po-1 R-7 P-8 5 - Pr-4 B-6 M-6 T-6 Po-1 R-6 P-8 6 - Pr-4 B-7 M-3 T-7 Po-1 R-5 P-8 You can easily scroll through the two loads in the plugin. Consider it an extra subtle tone control. The difference is not as drastic as what I observed with the Mesa Dual Rectifier’s Modern Mode. I boosted the settings with a few pedals. The filenames reference the following abbreviations: OCDGHP, OCDGLP - Fulltone OCD Ge HP and LP modes OD808 - Maxon OD808 SD1 - Boss SD-1 TLDX - Wampler Tumnus Deluxe The difference between boosts on the Lead Channel was not as pronounced as what I experienced on the Rhythm Channel. I’ve included them for record. Full Rig Signal Chain: RME UCX II Line Out – United Studio Technology Replay Box at 11.5dBu - Pedal - Peavey 6505 1992 Original - Suhr Reactive Load Thru - Mesa Traditional 4x12 Cabinet – Celestion V30 - Shure SM57 - CAPI VP28 - RME UCX II Line In at 11.7dBu The Suhr Reactive Load was used to take a tap of the Full Rig signal chain to make the Amp Head Captures. A mix of the TTSV10 file and the shortened TTSV11 file were used, depending on when I trained the captures. Both input files are from The Tone Scientist, a contributor to the NAM community. https://shop.thetonescientist.com/ Input/output calibration metadata for 11.5dBu send/11.7dBu return was filled in during TONE3000 training.
